One thing I have learned over the years as a stylist, and in just a little over a year of owning Fresh Rayne Salon, is that running a business comes with unexpected twists and turns. Some days everything runs smoothly, and other days you wake up to an email or phone call that changes the way you have to do things.
Recently, I got one of those curveballs: my distributor let me know they will no longer be carrying Maria Nila. If you have been with me for a while, you know how much I love Maria Nila and how proud I have been to offer their products here at Fresh Rayne Salon. Their quality, their values, and the results they deliver have always been something I could confidently stand behind.
So what happens now? Right now I am in the middle of figuring out whether there is still a way for me to get Maria Nila directly or if it is time to start exploring new lines that fit the salon’s needs. Change can be intimidating, but I want to be transparent and let you know that no matter what happens, I will always make sure that what I bring into the salon is high quality, ethical, and something that I truly believe will benefit your hair.
Owning a business isn’t about everything going perfectly all the time. It is about learning to adapt, problem solve, and move forward in a way that keeps your clients’ best interests at heart. This is just one of those moments where I am reminded that even when things shift, there is always a way through.
Thank you for trusting me on this journey and for supporting Fresh Rayne Salon through every change and every win. I promise that no matter what, I will always keep striving to give you the very best.
With gratitude,
Aryn
